Will the Movers Clean Up After They’re Done?

A pile of disorganized boxes ready to be moved

Moving can get messy. With boxes, tape, and protective wrap everywhere, it’s fair to wonder: will your movers clean up after themselves?

The short answer is yes – to a point.

Your movers will pick up any packing supplies they used – think plastic wrap, tape rolls, and discarded materials. But unless your contract includes move-out cleaning services, you’ll need to handle sweeping, mopping, and trash removal yourself. If cleaning is included, a separate crew will take care of it after the movers leave.

Upon delivery, your movers will remove any plastic wrap, tape, or protective materials they applied to your furniture. If you didn’t book unpacking services, you’ll need to break down and dispose of the boxes and packing paper on your own.

If unpacking is part of your package, that crew will handle box disposal and general cleanup of packing materials. Movers may lay down cardboard or plastic to protect floors during the move-in, they’ll take that up when they’re done.

If you have specific concerns about keeping things tidy – especially during a local relocation or international move to or from Bulgaria – mention them to your crew. At Allied, The Careful Movers, we’re here to help your move feel organized and stress-free.
